another real good beer from these guys. unlike so many of their brews, this one doesnt appear to have any crazy botanical or wild ingredient in it, although i could be wrong, i just dont immediately smell or taste anything way out of the ordinary, its just a well made example of the style, nice and bubbly and dry, and not too intense on the belgian yeast front, quite balanced there, with a nice citrus hop finish, above average for the style. the hops are a nice touch, give it just enough bitterness to balance some of the sweet wheat malt, and there seems to be an almost lemony quality to them that works real well with the yeast. bitter orange notes, grassy springtime vibe, super refreshing. i have not seen this one in cans, but i reckon it would be a nice addition to their packaged lineup for the summer, this has camping, boating, hiking, volleyball in the park written all over it. ill gave to go up to their awesome patio this summer and slam back a few pints. this one is about as sessionable as they come.
