Pumpkin Pie Milkshake Porter
This pumpkin pie porter was the first collaboration beer that our brewers Noel and Dave made together. It was brewed with a Mash Tun full of pumpkins and gooey, dark malts, plus spices like clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Finally, lactose was added to mimic a fresh dollop of whipped cream on top. It's a graveyard smash.

Look: Black body with a slightly brown hue around the edges. Graham cracker crust head that lingers and leaves some small bubbles.
Smell: Spice forward with the nutmeg and cinnamon. Some pumpkin/fall notes along with it, but mainly spices on the nose. Also sweet and malty.
Taste: Caramel, rich, roasty, with notes of all of the fall spices you would expect in a pumpkin beer. You do, unlike some other pumpkin beers, get that squashy/pumpkin taste on the tongue afterwards. It is on the sweeter side as well.
Feel: Lighter mouthfeel at first, but then the creaminess of the lactose kicks in. I was expecting something syrupy or resinous, but it's not. Not very strong carbonation.
Overall: Would be a good beer for a cold, October/November night. Would probably get again if it was singles in a six pack or if I was going to the brewery itself.
