Pours a golden-yellow clear beer with decent lacing. Carbonation still rising to the surface after sitting in the glass for a few minutes. (I ordered the sampler, so some of the beers were sitting around after being poured.)

The strong smell is very much fresh blueberries. Very impressive of the brewer to get that to come through unimpeded. There is little else to report on the smell as the blueberries dominate.

The taste has a nice malt backbone to hold up a small hint of blueberry flavor. The fruit flavor is subtle and not overpowering or disgusting just a nice melded part of the overall taste. The blueberries provide a subtle sweet finish as well.

The mouthfeel is adequate with medium carbonation.

Drinkability is quite good as I could see beer beginners and beer aficionados enjoying this beverage equally.

This is exactly what a blueberry beer should be. Aroma is intense with real, fresh blueberries. Flavor is like a freshly baked blueberry muffin consisting of light grains, just a hint of lemon, and loads of freshly picked, plump, ripe blueberries. This is no kool-aid beer. This is the real deal. The fruit is entirely authentic and appealing. Far and away the best blueberry beer I’ve had. Appearance is similar to that of a cream ale. Mouthfeel is light and well balanced. Drinkability is very high.

Note: I recieved an error message when entering this as a "fruit beer" so I entered it as a cream ale, which it really isn't.
