I am simply picking up where I left off the other night during The CANQuest (tm). If you CAN recall, I had reviewed both the 5% & 8% ABV versions of both their Iced Tea & their Lemonade. This made for the next logical choice, but I was rather spent & decided to hold this in abeyance until now.
From the CAN: "Twist It, Pop It … It's time to kick it with Floyd's[.] The best times are never planned, they just happen. Make them happen with Floyd's."; "Gluten Free".
I Crack!ed open the vent & beCAN a slow, gentle Glug into the awaiting glass. I was not surprised when any head failed to form since I had experienced this in the previous Floyd's offerings. Color was a tea-like Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with NE-quality clarity, but closer to Amber than Gold. Hmm. Nose smelled more tea-like than lemon, leading me to wonder if the blend really was 50%/50%. Hmm. Mouthfeel was again thin & watery. 8=( The taste tended more towards tea than lemonade, which kind of followed the nose. It wasn't bad, per se, but I wouldn't want a steady diet of it, either. Finish was semi-sweet, more of a bit of a novelty drink than anything else. YMMV.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
