I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had sublt plum notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with slighly tart plum and lemon presence that finishes bitter. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

With these two cans from my sixth or seventh shipment from Beer Drop (I'm not a monthly subscriber), I'm still pleasantly surprised to find a twelve year old Colorado micro that I haven't tried. Like 3/4 of the micros that sprouted in Colorado's thin air, Telluride's portfolio seems similar; refreshing IPAs and an off-beat flagship or two. While Colorado has many micros that brew Belgians, few do it well enough to make it a speciality. (My theory is it is hard to manage how these unique Belgian-like yeasts react to the thin Colorado air.) Telluride also seems similar to Colorado's many micros brewing in that mountainous Paradise. Out of envy, I don't give Telluride too many Overall Hugs... they also could diversify their interests more, you know, doing the eco-thing.
But with some work, Plum Bianca may become a better Belgian. While this wit Looks and Smells only slightly above my average (it lacks a lively enough foam and the fruits are not distinctive in my nose), the pluminess comes through in the balanced Taste. Cleansing and somewhat soft in my mouth. Plum Bianca improved a lunch of leftovers. I'll save the balance of the 16 ounces for dinner to test versatility... Later..... Bianca worked very well with a salad.

From a can. Pours a hazy orange with a thick rocky white head. Smells fruity and belgiany. Tastes of fruit. Kind of watery. It's easy drinking and smooth but not what i expected.
