Another great offering from Grey Sail. Made for Avenue N American Kitchen in Rumford, RI but available at the brewery and a few local retailers. Surprisingly hoppy for a wheat ale. Nice citrusy nose. Pours nicely with a two finger head and leaves a solid lacing down to the end. Great mouth feel, zesty and bright. Juicy with a nice subtle sweet malt balance. One of my favorites to be introduced over the last few years and a nice break from my typical IPA leanings.

Very nicely balanced hoppy American wheat ale. Hazy, lemon-yellow brew topped with a snow-white head. Nice thick aroma of dank and fruity hops balanced against banana yeast esters and wheat.
Very drinkable and easy-going. A nice interpretation of an American wheat.

16oz Tall Boy purchased at the brewery. Pours a murky, dirty burnt yellow color with over an inch of head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops mixed with some spicy wheat. Slightly floral. The taste is a good amount of citrus hops up front. Orange, lemon, and maybe some grapefruit. Fair amount of bready wheat flavor. Some spicy notes. Finishes with some citrus peel and wheat. Lots of carbonation and a slightly dry mouthfeel. $5 a 4 pack for a beer only available at the brewery was a hard deal to pass up. I'm glad I grabbed it. Overall, solid hoppy Wheat that I'll buy again.

32oz. howler purchased on 10/31. Part of the Chalkboard Series and brewed for Avenue N restaurant in Rumford, RI. Pours a pale, tawny gold hue with a loose white head that dissipates into a soapy slick. Very pleasant nose - citrusy with a suggestion of malted wheat. Taste is lightly hopped with pleasant citrus notes. Mouthfeel is light and lively with just a kiss of acidity. Overall, a solid hoppy American Wheat Ale. Simple and easy drinking. I wouldn't mind have regular access to this beer.
