On tap at 84 Tavern on Canal. Pours a translucent orange with a thin layer of head. Tons of lacing. Aroma is very juicy. Mango, guava, pineapple, grapefruit and lime. The taste is boozey, juicy tropical fruits. Mango, papaya, guava, pineapple, and grapefruit. Pretty heavy mouthfeel with a noticeable alcohol presence. Overall, pretty great beer. I hope this ends up getting canned like the IPL that was a previous anniversary beer.

This beer pours bright orange and insanely packed with hop sediment suspended throughout. Big frothy white head. Smells like the offspring fruit of a pine and grapefruit tree, had they had a wild night together! Tastes the same but blended with some Orange Julius! My god this texture is resiny velvet, bitter to the max. Slight alcohol warmth on the end, but well hidden for 11.2%. One of the best TIPA's I've had! Cheers!

Juicy super IIPA. Comparing it to Dogfish 120 minute IPA - much better. I didn't get any hint of the high ABV and glad I only put down one.
Massive turbidity and flocculation but I didn't bother to let it settle.
If you get a chance, grab it.

On-tap 11/29/2016 at Doherty’s Ale House in Warwick, RI, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a deep cloudy gold color, with a large foamy off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, grassy, caramelized malts and some alcohol.
T: The taste starts out sweet with strong flavors of citrus and caramel. The hops presence is grassy but a bit subdued. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. There is a touch of an alcohol sting. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, strong kick, good representation of style, it seems to me to be like a strong version of Captain’s Daughter.

Seriously souped up Captain's Daughter. Major grapefruit piny-ness, but only negative is the booziness on the back end and down the throat! I can't believe the sweetness is kept to a minimum. Overall a good one-time brew...

really exceptional sipper, but smooth enough to to want to gulp. huge citrus nose, with intense hop up front fading to a nice finish...worth holding on the tongue a bit. drunken bastard child of captain's daughter and bissell bros swish. dank and thick compared to anything else i have had from gs. had a pour at the tap room, and was probably number 62 in line for the 70 cases canned...will make some happy holiday gifts for friends!
