On-tap 2/18/2017 at Pizza J’s in Providence, RI, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a light yellowish gold color, with a large white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains light caramelized malts, lager yeast and some hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of lager yeast and a light malt character. Then some mild malt sweetness comes in. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly bready.
M: Crisp and smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: A little tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer but there are better choices available within the style.

On tap at Inishmor. Pours a hazy burnt straw color with an inch of head. Fair amount of lacing. The aroma has some light citrus hops notes along with the Pilsner malt. Some sourdough bread as well. The taste is the bready Pilsner malt with some light floral and citrus hops. Grassy hop finish with more sourdough bread. Creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good Pils I'd buy again in the summer.
