12 ounce can into toilet. Dated 9/6/18.
Look is hazy cloudy golden orange. Smell tropical passion fruit at the top. Taste follows nose with stone fruit. Feel is medium to light. Overall light fruit on the front not a big juice bomb, but nice mellow fruit. Good beer worth a try.

12 oz can poured into a Pilsner glass.

Appearance
Hazed-out, cloudy blonde. 1+ fingers of creamy white head.

Nose
Passion fruit, lime, pomegranate, blueberry, dank, and biscuit.

Taste
Pomegranate, passion fruit, and touches of blueberry. Light dankness with a twist of lime. Biscuity maltiness. Lightly toasty.

Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, smooth, sticky, semi-dry, and moderately bitter.

Overall
A great IPA for the price. Easy drinking and tropical.

Vic Secret is not my favorite hop but this is very well crafted in the NE IPA style. I would love to see this series showcase citra, el dorado, simcoe, mosaic, galaxy, amarillo, idaho 7 and beyond. I enjoyed this and look forward to future derivatives of the creative ale series.

Grabbed this on a whim since Grey Sail's other limited releases have been excellent. I'm not a huge fan of the NEIPA style, so keep that in mind.

This is a very good example of the NEIPA style that does not overdo it at all. Very drinkable, no funk. A good yellow haze, with lingering head crawling up the glass. Just bitter enough to qualify as an IPA without being offensive, and not so juicy that it needs a napkin. Well done again, Grey Sail.

I gave it 4's across the board, reserving a 5 for something that blows my palate.

Canned on 8/28/18

Pours a hazy bright gold with a solid two fingers of sturdy, dense white head; great head retention and a good bit of lacing left behind.

Aroma of grassy hops evolving into some dank herbal and citrus notes; I’m getting plenty of cracker and dank hops upfront, followed by mango, guava, moss, grapefruit zest, and passionfruit.

Taste brings plenty of dank pine, mango, cracker, orange peel, citrus zest, prickly grass, and peach, with a hoppy zing on the finish; decently balanced and present, if not at times fleeting and a bit basic.

Mouthfeel is balanced and fairly weighty, with prickly hops adding a unique and welcome refreshing quality; smooth body with some ever-present carbonation that’s equally well-maintained.

A solid take on a NEIPA; while I can’t say it’s anything special, this beer has its moments and is an easy-drinker that doesn’t devastate the palate like some of its stylistic counterparts might.
