For number 8 in the Wheelhouse Series we decided to go with a refreshingly tart 4.5% gose with a twist! Tart cherries, pink Himalayan sea salt, & locally harvested sugar kelp from Stonington kelp company! It’s a beautiful pinkish hue, slightly tart cherry taste, both delicious & refreshing.

A: The beer is crystal clear amber in yellow in color and has a light amount of carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left a thin film of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with notes of saltiness and hints of cherries.
T: The taste follows the smell and is mostly sour with hints of cherries and faint bits of salt.
M: It feels light-bodied and a bit tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This gose isn't overly sour but has nice subtle flavors of cherries and salt.

It’s a light reddish pink with little head. Smells slightly lactotart, hint of fruit not necessarily cherry. Tastes like a gose, but kinda muted on all fronts; not very fruity, not very tart, not very salty, no hop or coriander so to speak. Cant pick up anything kelp either. Thin. Not very carbed. Probably good that this is a 1-off’er.
