On draft at Aidan’s in Bristol RI. Apparently a new offering from Grey Sail.
Seems to be a slightly ‘light’ hazy NEIPA.
Appearance is classic hazy IPA, more golden and less murky than some of the best (like Proclamation Tendril).
Smell hints at citrus, lemon, a bit of grapefruit, but again less intense than something like Widowmaker Blue Comet.
Taste is refreshing overall, leaning to citrus, lemon, secondary grapefruit, with a balance of some bitterness. Guessing it was more dry than wet hopped, bitterness was in the background.
Overall seems like a 3/4 hazy NEIPA. Not as deeply satisfying as Blue Comet or Tendril, but the lighter body goes well on a hot early summer day. Maybe a hazy IPA for the summer when you feel like something on the lighter side.
