A: hazy; deep gold in color; a 1 finger finely pored ivory head thar receded to a wispy cap; OK lacing;
S: very little aroma; what's there is a muddled combination of tropical fruit and citrus;
T: flavor is brighter than the aroma; still muddled; a little dank; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; mild hop burn;
O: OK, but not memorable;

12oz can served in a tulip. Pours a lovely burnt orange hue with a fluffy, two finger, off-white head. Clarity is hazy but not turbid. Nose expresses notes of nectarines and a light, herbal quality in the background. Taste follows nose; however, herbal character is much more intense and leaves a residual, slightly medicinal bitterness at the finish. Backbone has a medium malt profile. Mouthfeel is medium in body with an assertive carbonation that leaves a residual prickle at the end of the quaff. Overall, a very nice West Coast inspired DIPA that showcases both breweries.
