Appearance: Somewhat cloudy straw with a puffy white head.
Aroma: Dry and crisp. Lemon, pepper.
Taste: Nice bite on this one. Big peppery accent along with lemon, citrus, grass.
Mouthfeel: More flavor than the average saison, so this is a slower drinker than most. Good saisons typically have a pepper note, but this is more of a pepper blast.
Overall: First, this is a good saison. Second, it’s advertised as “pink peppercorn saison,” and I have no idea what pink peppercorn is, so I’m at a bit of a disadvantage. But it’s a winner for sure - dry, flavorful, refreshing, unique.
