Too Soon for June
7venth (Seventh) Sun Brewery

I couldn't find a decent style for this when I added it, so I put Belgian Saison, despite that this is only similar to a Belgian Saison in that the description says "Farmhouse." 32 oz. crowler. Pours orange with a light haze. Smells like bread, first and foremost. Lots of bread. A little citrus peel and some pine, maybe that's the juniper. A little bit of yeast. Tastes like bread, too, but lots of yeast flavors abound. Phenolic yeast with a touch of acidity. A bit of spicy grain in the back end and a bit of herbal and medicinal flavors. Pine, again maybe from the juniper, finishes it. Medium body. No basis for how this compares to other Kveik styles, but I enjoy this. Doesn't fit into a category well.
