Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at Mr. Dunderbak's. Served in a large goblet.
A: Very hazy, dark yellow to dull gold. A finger's worth of white head atop low visible carbonation.
S: Funky, yeasty, barnyard, lemony citrus and some peppery spices.
T: Yeasty, bready malts, funky barnyard (in moderation), and some fruitiness (strawberries, lemon, orange), grassy background with some pepper. Has a dry, lightly funky finish.
M: Low alcohol presence, good amount of carbonation, and a nice full body for style.
O: This was a nice, solid saison with a pleasant, natural fruitiness that still allowed the other flavors to come through. Nicely done, and recommended.
