Fresh from a growler I picked up in late afternoon 2/10/22 on first day available for stout month. Pours dark brown, can't see through, light chocolate-tan head, incedible vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate aroma. Mixture of all is wonderful. Vanilla-cinnamon taste mix at start, followed by chocolate deliciousness at end. Best beer (more like tasty adult chocolate drink with alcohol) I have ever tasted.

12oz can. Poured out an opaque, oil-black color with a good-sized, light brown head of foam. It smelled of cinnamon, vanilla and chocolate. Strong cinnamon taste with chocolate and toffee.

December 17th, 2015 - Overall, I enjoyed the Horchata Stout, but excited to see what the nitro treatment does to some of the intensity of the sugars in the normal version. As is typical with nitro versions, the Horchata Stout gets a whipped, foamy head and a difficult aroma to pick out, but the palate has also smoothed out tremendously. And it does mask some of the flavor, and perhaps too much. The flavor generally tastes mild and muted, leaving little of the horchata flavor or even the malt to come through.
