Poured into wide/large rocks glass: color is gold, nearly clear, head is off white with fine bubbles, head presents at 1/4 inch then dissipates to solid top with some lacing on glass sides.
Smell is blended malt and hops with toast, bread, light caramel, honey, then citric and pithy hops with very light pine and earthy spice.
Taste is similar with blended hop/malt flavor - maybe more forward hops with pith, citrus, earth, pine intermingled by the light caramel, toast, honey malt flavors.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness with a drying feel from the abv.
Overall a well hopped and prominent malt flavors provide a more classicly styled DIPA.

I first had this at a beer festival a couple years ago and periodically re-buy it when I see it at the store. Pours a rusty amber, suspension gives it a slight haze, and negligible head. The nose is fairly pungent, funky hops and a slight, un-offensive sour aroma. Almost has some wine-like character to the nose, honestly, like a chianti.
This beer has a syrupy mouthfeel and satisfying taste. You get those herby-vegetal notes pretty straight on, but due to the alcohol the finish is pretty dry so it's a nice and clean blast of flavor, with lingering bitterness lingers. The alcohol is noticeable at this level but pretty easy to put down for an 8%.
It doesn't really have anything to distinguish it within the gamut of DIPA's, but it's a straight shooter that you won't be disappointed with if you like the style. Overall, solid beer.

Pours mostly clear with a deep golden color with a good 2 finger head and decent lacing.
Smells of a good amount of malt present with an earthy note behind the piney hops.
Initially it actually tastes a bit dirty, but then comes around to the malt that matches the nose. Hops seem fairly grassy with a kick of citrus. The booze his hidden fairly well but in the end leaves a lasting metallic taste.
A good crisp bite with a dry finish on the tongue.
Overall a good DIPA that is very drinkable.

Pours a bright apricot, big head, lovely lacing. Hop-citrus smell. Taste follows with a metallic zing. The feel lacks an oiliness that I expect in DIPAs. For me that's a good thing. Overall good.

Another local I tried on my Colorado vacation. Has a big citrus hop influence in the nose.
A little disjointed in the flavor, with hop dominated finish kind of overcoming a mediocre mouthfeel, creating a bit of a metallic note. You don't notice the abv but the mouthfeel could definitely use some stiffening. Watery texture keeps this one an awkward mess.

Can thanks to Wasatch. Cheers John!
Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with over a finger of foam, sticky lacing.
Smells of grapefruit citrus, caramel malt, has a tropical fruit nose to it.
Fruity bitterness up front, grapefruit, light grass, a bit subdued flavour wise for a double IPA.
Has somewhat of a scratchy mouthfeel to it. Pretty average.

Pours a deep golden/orange color, strong head with sturdy lacing. Nose is strong with hops and, honestly, not much else. The floral or citrus bouquet you typically get with IPAs is missing. Same with the taste. There's a hint of something flowery there, but it's more like marigold than something yummy. Mostly it tastes like a lot of hops without much foreplay. And heavens, does it linger. I'll be smelling hops in my sleep. "Cloying" is an unfortunate yet appropriate word to use here. Maybe I should just avoid beers rated at > 60 IBU. They seem to make me grumpy.

Poured into a cervoise glass.
Looks light caramel gold with a white head, film of retention and amusing lacing in the shapes of animals.
Smells earthy, dank, weedy, and not unlike rotting cardboard.
Tastes bitter immediately and never recovers. Steely, like drinking liquid metal.
Mouthfeel is medium to heavy.
Overall, not my think. Horrible metallic bitter aftertaste.

12 oz. Can
Canned On: 09/13/17
Pours a pretty nice clean/clear yellowish/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), nice little pineyness. The taste is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), nice pine note. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.
