this is mighty cucumber forward, almost at the expense of the wheat beer underneath it, but it tastes relatively natural to me, forward as it is, and its far better than i was anticipating. the cucumber is a little waxy in here, a little perfumy and floral, highly fragrant, but its also earthy and vegetal and summery, and seems authentic enough to me, i just think there is a bit more of it present here than the beer can handle, being so light and all. its mostly clear from the can, and has a nice excitable head on it, lots of bubbles, and a good refreshing mouthfeel. i would like to taste the wheat a bit more than i do here, but the simple nature of the beer i think adds to its appeal too. not quite one of those flavored beers for people who dont like beer, this still is beery at its heart, but the flavor of the cucumber is intense and that seems to be the point. cucumber is coming on hot as a beer ingredient these days, and they are all a little different so far. this could have some value in hot weather, but its too flavored to be a high volume thing, at least for me. not bad though for what it is...

Poured into a shaker pint glass.

Look: Opaque faded light straw yellow with light mint green hue. Head is fluffy and bright white and doesnt recede much, leaves massive splotches of foamy lacing.

Aroma: Clean grains and malts touched with light pepper and mint notes.

Taste: Tastes like a traditional wheat beer with a clean grain base before delving into cucumber flavors that bring out minty and peppery notes like the aroma. Very crisp and refreshing.

Mouthfeel: Medium to light but smooth.

Overall: One of the most refreshing beers I've had with unique flavors that work well with the style.
