On-tap at Stout Street Social, Denver, CO
A: The beer is nearly black in color but when held up to the light it is crystal clear dark red. It poured with just a think cola of off white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas fo dark malts and black tea are present in the nose.
T: The taste is a little maltier and has flavors of toasted malts with a bit of associated sweetness and hints of black tea.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Irish Red Ale seems to be maltier compared to other beers in the style.
Serving type: on-tap

Pours an SRM of about 14, nice butter colored head, sticks around awhile. 80 percent opaque.
Lots of rich copper malts and apple skins on the nose, with a hint of caramel sweetness and Bartlett pear.
Flavor brings that apple out front, swirling with a sweet caramel malt body and some polite hop juice. The finish is pure roasted barley. Fruity esters remain on the palate.
Feel is light to medium, mild carbonation and a semi dry finish.
Overall i think ill be grabbing a sixer for my band to try. This beer is SERIOUS.

Poured from a 12oz can into a pint glass. L: clear, dark copper, light brown. Small head fades to a small ring. Zero lacing. S: toasty malts. Barley sugar. T: good hop crispness. Raisin sweetness. A bit of peppery spice from yeast or hops. F: good carbonation adds crisp mouthfeel. O: pretty decent crafted beer.

Poured from a can into an over-sized wine glass, I'm not finding a "best by" date and I see it's a Spring brew yet I'm drinking it November.... Pours darkest brown, an earthy smell like the woods after a rain. Toasty, woody flavor with a bitter aftertaste. Medium feel, light carbonation. Quite good. I'll seek this out again.
