a good berliner here, brewed with peaches, or at least peach flavoring, and its pretty solid. the lacto souring part is just a little stinky, sweaty maybe, but its minimal, and isnt so pungent in the taste, its close to clean there. its near crystal clear, with a soda looking carbonation and white head. aroma is sweet ripe peach, mostly authentic, and the slightly citric lacto acidity, simple and not quite brilliantly refreshing, but definitely summery and attractive. the peach flavor is at once sweet and juicy, but the sugar isnt too much as its a nice counterpoint to the sour here, which is also somewhat moderate compared to many of its peers, but it plays a crucial role in making this drinkable for me, keeping it refreshing, and giving it a little flavor depth. great carbonation and a really light body, and i think the peach is dosed about right, if it were much drier it might be gone. the first sour beer i have seen from these guys, and a pretty tasty one, likely to be someones favorite, as peach is so appealing and it doesnt find its way into berliner as one would think given the natural symbiosis there. the lacto could be cleaned up just a bit, but it didnt diminish the enjoyment at all for me.

On draft. Poured out a slightly cloudy, straw yellow color with a small, fizzy white head of foam. It left no lacing. It smelled of tart lemon, other citrus fruits and some cracked wheat. Tart and acidic with lemon and orange. Light wheat taste and hint of caramel.
