12oz can, tulip, can’t quite make out the canned or best by date on the bottom. The 21st of some month 2021.
This is truly one of the darkest beers I’ve seen. It looked oily as I poured it and black tinted instead of the usual reds and browns. The head is also extremely dark, almost a dark chocolate color. Much darker than any cappuccino or latte foam you’ve ever seen and there was actually a thin finger of it that lingers more than most.
Coffee syrup, vanilla bean, salted caramel. There’s some char and soy sauce as well. It’s oily and intense.
It’s a bit like a bite of a quality dark chocolate bar. It’s thick and chewy enough to really make that analogy. The vanilla really is strong, and complimentary. There’s some salted caramel here too.
Thick body, medium carbonation, and oh so full and creamy.
The intensity on this beer is the big time. It really is like a bite of yummy yummy dark chocolate.

On tap. Very dark with a dark head and incredible lacing. Smells of dark roasted grain, flavor the same with hints of coffee, vanilla and dark fruit. Very thick in the feel. Good beer but one is plenty.

12oz undated can stamped MACADOODLES1 poured into a Spiegelau stout glass at fridge temp 9.7% ABV. The beer pours dense black with rusty mocha colored head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. Slight lacing. The aroma is big roasty malt, oak, vanilla, coffee and whiskey. The taste is caramel and whiskey barrel up front moving to roasted malt and coffee mid palate. The finish reveals more vanilla and oak with mild, not cloying, sweetness and a mostly dry character. The roasted malt and oak help balance here. The mouthfeel is full to medium bodied with less than medium carbonation. Overall, very good. Really enjoyable stout. Thanks @russpowell!

12oz can. Pours a black color with a nominal tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and trace of dark fruit. taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruit and just a wee bit of coffee. Nice bitterness that lingers a bit into the finish. Fairly full body, nice stout feel without a hint of the ABV. Very enjoyable.

Taste - Roasted malts, coffee, nice bitter finish, vanilla. The flavors are very balanced and work really well together.

Overall A really well done stout, the addition of coffee and vanilla beans shows through well in the aroma and taste.

12oz can, sample from the brewery.
A big ole burley stout flavored with vanilla beans and coffee. Great looking beer to start, smells and tastes like a robust vanilla ice coffee drink. A good amount of roasted grain and alcohol remind me its a beer. Certainly ahead of the middle of the pack when it comes to flavored stouts, worth seeking out.

Pours a black color. 1/4 inch head of a tan color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong coffee, roasted malt, piney hops, alcohol, and slight sweet malt. Fits the style of a Russian Imperial Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of strong coffee, roasted malt, slight chocolate, piney hops, alcohol, and slight sweet malt. Overall, weak appearance, but good aroma, body, feel, and blend.

Pours black with a finger of khaki-caramel colored foam. Head retention is fair with a few strings of lacing left behind. Aroma is roasted malts right up front with toasted malts, coffee, and vanilla bean sprinkled through the remainder of the aroma. Flavor profile is a stout first - with notes of roasted and toasted malts at about a 70/30 ratio. Vanilla beans and medium-roasted coffee swell up towards the finish of the flavor profile boosting the complexity and enjoyment of sipping on this beer. Coffee has a dark chocolate quality to it. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a slight grain to what is otherwise a velvety, creamy texture. Overall, a fantastic imperial stout that focuses on straight forward quality stout notes with coffee and vanilla bean added to sweeten up the finish of this beer.
