Poured from a can. Dark amber with a foamy head and lacing. Smells of biscuit, caramel and slight citrus. Flavors of caramel and toffee with a malty backbone. Pretty solid.

Draft at Billiards in Columbia, MO. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of bready malt, caramel, toffee and citrus. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a mild bitterness and smooth finish.

Pours an effervescent scarlet/hazel with a thumb+ of tan head. Above average head retention & lacing
S: Cakey, herbal hops, toasty. Nose fades once warm
T: Follows the nose, some dryness & woody hops up front. Toasty dryness, a little caramel, woody & tea like hops as this beer warms up. Finishes dry, toasty with herbal & woody hops
MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation
Nice take on the style, more body & flavor required to really please me. Drinks fairly easy. I would this over Shiner by a mile
