My first beer from this brewery. Truely add-hears to the style name as the body on this beer is very pale. Head is barely a skim of off white hue. Nose is oddly full of astringent honey and banana taffy. Really not much going on here in terms of hop character. Taste is very hollow. It reminds me of not much at all really. Clean drinking but nothing to talk about in terms of standing out. A hue of flat malt maybe. Not something I will look for again.

50% of profits support American military families. Now that is purpose! Twisting off the topi get a sweet malt smell. Pours to a bright yellow with a two finger white head that slowly recedes. Taste is pale, light and grassy without much bitterness or hopping. A smooth easy drinker without much excitement. Spot on for a pale lager. A great sessioner. I rate higher due to their dedication.

Pint glass poured from a bottle.
Thought it was a pale ale when I grabbed it, only to be saddened to learn it was a pale lager. The color was pale straw yellow, and the smell had faint notes of biscuit. The flavor was, again, lightly biscuity, and a hint of malt sweet. The mouth feel was watery and unimpressive. The only reason I didn't rate this lower is because it was labeled light lager, and for better or worse, that was a LIGHT lager. I'd drink again if it was handed to me, and I couldn't find a glass of water to quench my thirst.
