Bought this beer in cans in Lincoln. Pours a light clear yellow with little lacing or head - could be any macro lager based on appearance. Smell is light malt with a touch of cracker scent. First taste is pleasant Pilsner malt with little else, no yeast flavors that I can detect. In the middle of the palette is a touch bitterness but low / borderline non-existent hop flavor. Backend is a lingering sweetness, bordering on cloying. I’d like a little more pils flavor and dryness on the finish. This is not my favorite Kolsch around.
