Pours a hazed & effervescent straw color with a thumb of ivory colored head. Minima; head retention & lacing
S: Peach & a little sourness
T: Sweet peaches, slight grassy & slighter tartness up front. Tartness picks up as this warms, a little lemon mixes in with peach, but there is pleasant peach pie sweetness. Finishes tart, but plenty of sweetness too & just little dryness
MF: Light/medium body,fairly delicate carbonation
Super drinkability, a very approachable Gose, maybe a little too sweet for purists,

Artificial tasting peach flavor. Not like a gose to me.

I appreciate the growing trend of producing German Gose beers and decided to try my first Blue Blood beer, a local brewery. This is a beer any craft beer lover can drink.

Pours a cloudy, gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of peach, slight candi sugar, hint of bacterial funk, hint of yeast, and a hint of salt. Fits the style of a Gose. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. Tastes of peach, slight candi sugar, hint of hop, hint of bacterial funk, hint of yeast, and a hint of salt. Overall, weak appearance, cloyingly sweet, too carbonated, otherwise decent.

Only a few years ago, it seemed like there were only a few German Gose beers, but now they are everywhere. I was really impressed with this one. From a large can, it is a hazy, gold color with a huge, thick, lasting head. The aroma literally jumps out of the glass, with notable peach and wheat present far away from the glass. Slightly sour in smell as well, but the taste is soft and full. The salt is notable, but only in how it brings some depth to the wheat and pale malt. A bit of citrus, lots of peach...soft and light in body, and very drinkable. I thought this was a well conceived and nicely brewed beer.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of peach, wheat and a hint of grasses. Sweet peach taste with tart notes and a touch of saltiness.

5 oz flight.
Colored light blonde, with zero head but bubbly on top.
Aromas of salt, herbal tang, and light malts.
Flavors of salt, peach fuzz, citrus, and club soda.
Carbonated feel, with a buzzing electricity. Wet finish.
Overall not a bad one-off. I wouldn't mind having it again but it's not something I'll miss.
