Red Wine Barrel Aged Saison With Peaches

this is for the outlaw series cabernet aged version with brett and peaches, not sure if there have been multiple variants of this or not, and the listing is not clear. either way, the beer is really good. i didnt get much peach on it until after the swallow, but its neat that way because i keep waiting for it and the peaches arent there, but then the whole beer dries out at the end, and theres the peach, natural and juicy and rather strongly flavored, its great. the saison is good, the wood is as strong as the wine, i really dont get the cabernet specifically here, but i like what i do get from it, slight red berry and tannins. the brett smells a little young and forced, but it tastes great, fruity and funky, and it dries the beer out nicely by the finish, some dusty cereal wheat and a little musty funk is all thats left with the peaches in the end. medium bodied and well enough carbonated. i though this was a pretty ambitious beer overall, and quite well done in the end, but i bet it will be better as it ages and the brett matures a bit. i was impressed overall here though, their beers are adventurous and well done for the most part. they should bottle this one of they havent already...
