12 oz bottle- no date, but probably at least 5 years old
Pours a cloudy dark golden color, no head. Aroma and taste is slightly funky and tart apple. Fairly sour. Thin to medium bodied.

Wow, first to post review. The pressure is on. Tried to upload photo but site didn't accept it.
12 oz. bottle obtained at Trenton Road Takeout on Black Friday. Batch 3, bottled 9-16-14. Bottle 117 of 435. No ABV listed, but guessing high single digits. Poured into Belgian ale glass.
L: Copper/amber, practically no head to speak of, no retention or lacing. Tiny champagne bubbles observable through translucent copper.
S: Malt up front, apple brandy notes from aging in barrels behind. Some funky yeast, some alcohol.
T: Apple juice, apple cider, apple brandy. Malts. Classic saison profile with the addition of the apples. Your enjoyment will depend on how much you enjoy apples in your ale.
F: Light to medium-bodied, but definite alcohol presence on finish. Quickly drying. Well-balanced.
O: I like it! I probably wouldn't drink it often, but interesting for a change of pace. If you don't like this sort of thing, it's easily dismissible as just another hard cider, but there's definitely a bit more to it than that.
