Picked up a sixer from the brewpub cooler 7-27-25 for $12. No canning date; consumed can #2 for review 8-13-25. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured black with a very nice off white head.
Nose is nice, espresso beans forward and not much else.
Taste is really well done as the medium roasted malt base emits notes of dark chocolate which works quite nicely with the espresso bean addition. Finishes balanced and dry.
Mouthfeel is a tad thin and not overly smooth.
Overall, cannot but help to like the flavor profile, nice beer.

Drinking this at The Frog Level Brewing Company in beautiful downtown Waynesville North Carolina with The Red Headed Lady of Snowbird Mountains Brewery fame.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks dark brown almost black with a nice foamy tannish head that dropped quickly to a thin ring.
Smells malty, sweet, coffee and chocolate.
Taste follows the nose nicely, coffee predominanting and chocolate following
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style with a nice thick tongue feel .
Overall a very example of a Coffee Stout that I would definitely order again.
Cheers!

Fantastic beer. Nice coffee notes in the smell and taste. Smooth body. A great beer overall.
