Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, light yellow coloring, with a dense, clingy, bright white head. Nose of tangy cream, toasted corn, and bread. Subtle. Flavors are toasted and grainy forward, with a light cream overlay. Simple and balanced. Smooth, light body, with a sweet and tangy aftertaste. Smooth, crisp finish. Very nice.

A: Pours a crystal clear light to medium yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some light golden yellow highlights. The beer has a quarter finger tall fizzy white head that reduces rather quickly to a medium sized mottled patch of very thin film and a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. No lacing is observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of grainy malts with light amounts of corn sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of grainy malts with some moderate hints of corn sweetness. Hints of floral hops in the finish that give it just a hint of bitterness which fades very quickly.

M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth with only the faintest hint of creaminess.

O: Very easy to drink and refreshing - was a very nice beer for drinking while I was grilling some brats tonight. Nice and light though I might have appreciated just a touch more creaminess considering it is a Cream Ale.

on tap at sams in Durham.

pours an extremely pale yellow, almost white. palest beer I've ever seen. smell is next to nothing, maybe some slight malts. taste is a mix of lemon and oranges as well as malts. very light overall though. light bodied with medium carbonation.

not bad, id probably pass in the future though.

First had: on tap at Frog Level

Cloudy straw-yellow pour with a thin white head that dissipated almost completely. Light aroma of pale malts and lemongrass. Taste was simple and basic, bready pale malts, light and sweet, light floral and citrusy hop notes with a touch of orange zest. Crisp and fresh, actually pretty smooth for the style, good and summery, prickly carbonation. Not really my thing, but not at all bad for a cream ale.
