Brown in color with great clarity. A fingernail of khaki head covers the rim of the glass and about a third of the top. Aroma of nutmeg and clove dominates the caramel malt notes. The flavor showcases the spices prominently. Cinnamon and brown sugar are strong and nearly drown out the caramel profile. The mouth is heavily carbonated and a bit sticky.

22oz bottle.Poured out a light burgundy color with a reddish tint. It had a tan, bubbly, one-finger head that left nice traces of lace.It smelled of malty and a spicy. It tasted of bittersweet roasted malt. There was also a little nutmeg and cinnamon flavors.

Bottled 12/17/14 why can't I find hoppy stuff this fresh in SW MO???
Pours a very effervescent copper color with a thin beige head. Stays effervescent, no head retention & lacing
S: Cinnamon, nutmeg & all spice
T: Follows the nose, a little pear & squashyness as well, plus a little metallic tinge up front. Dryness, spice & little bit of pear & gingerbread as this warms. Finishes with gingerbread, dryness
MF: Medium bodied, lively carbonation
Drinks okay, reminds of the Christmas beers I would drink back in the mid 90s
( expected way more ). Could easily pass for a pumpkin beer, needs more body. ABV is well hidden
