Pours a bright & effervescent gold with 2+ fingers of ivory colored head. Zero head retention & lacing

S: Faint grapefruit & grassyness, grapefruit builds as it warms

T: Grapefruit & sweet cherry or sweet grapefruit? up front, a little dryness & grassyness. More grassy notes as this warms, plus sweet grapefruit & sweet orange & just a little leafy hop. Finishes pretty sweeet with a little grapefruit, dryness & leafy hops

MF: Light/medium body, low carbonation

Too sweet for my liking

Pours a deep yellow with a twinge of copper to it. Transparency is a few suspended particles above transparency, but is not completely translucent. Head is a finger of white fizzy, crackly foam that dissipates quickly. Aroma is grapefruit right at the onset. It carries a juicy twang to it, akin to shoveling a grapefruit up each nostril with a squeeze and a twist. Stone, grassy hops and very light earthy malts add a dash of depth. Flavor profile is more grapefruit, this time with increasing sweetness. Another sip conjures up memories of grapefruit served for breakfast, the fruit sliced into two halfs forming bowls, with a little sugar dashed over the top to counter the twangy sourness. In this case, a few extra spoonfuls have been added, the twang weakened and the sourness null. Not much is present outside of the grapefruit, aside from whispers of grassy hops and earthy, dirty stone. It's centered firmly in 'sweet'. Mouth feel is lightly crisp, offering up a little prick of initial effervescence that fades away to a more crushed swede, silty texture. Overall, sweet with a grapefruit center, middle and end.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 16oz can.

A tasty refreshing citrus bomb that is smooth and easy drinking. It's a bit sweet, but hey it's a radler, what do you expect??? Can't go wrong with this one, would be great on a hot summer day.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, fizzy, white head of foam. It smelled of grapefruit and caramel. Sweet grapefruit taste with a hint of tartness. Very refreshing!
