Clear golden yellow in the Affligem chalice with a modest foam. Quite spritzy on the tongue. Clouds of aromatics with a piney and perfumey intensity.

Surprisingly sweet and fruity. An odd grainy note. The hops are powerful and fruity. Grilled pineapple and lime peel flavors. Something like charred wood. This is so ginger tasting it's amazing. Quite bitter with grapefruit pith. A plasticky whiff at the finish. Label says this is brewed with Newport and Crystal hops and rates this at 90 IBUs.

Quite acidic and powerfully citrusy. This is another strange brew from the gluten-free folks. Too medicinally bitter to be drinkable, but bizarre enough for an educational experience. From the 22 oz bottle bought at The Market in Anacortes.
