For a gluten-free porter, this may be as good as it gets. Very dark appearance with slight tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a pleasant malt. Taste is also a very pleasant smooth malt with a touch of coffee.

16 oz. can from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR
$3.89.
Pours a darker brown..almost like cocoa cola brown..small beige head..that goes fast.
Odd nutty /chestnut and brown sugar aroma..odd but not unpleasant. Some lighter coffee vibes
Taste ..bitter fruitiness..weird..some coffee and blackberry picked wild by the road, caramel in the end. Sweet
Mouth feel is fine for a traditional porter..maybe a bit too much carbonation but its cool.
I liked this..not bad and if i ever get celiacs disease or become tragically hip this would be a good beer.

16oz can poured into a snifter.
A: Clear transparent light brown, bordering on amber ale territory, with a nice creamy off-white head.
S: Unique, and not altogether appealing...roasty, earthy...millet? Slightly medicinal as well.
T: More coffee and roast emerge on the palate, definitely leans more bitter and dry rather than sweet.
MF: Light body, somewhat watery.
O: Wouldn't recommend, though I'm not sure how many Gluten-Free options are out there & better.
