Look: black with a fluffy off-white head
Aroma: grapefruit, pine resin
Flavor: The flavor is champagne, grapefruit, and a grapefruit rind, pine resin and grassy like bitterness. he bitterness is significant and long lasting but I thought it was perfect for an IPA.
Body/Overall: It has significant carbonation.

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a deep midnight hickory topped by a finger of glowing off-khaki foam. The nose comprises harsh roast, loam, dark coffee, pine resin, sharp grass, and the vague sense of stone fruits. The taste brings in more of the same, the overall bitterness turned up past 11. It's kinda hard for me to drink, to be honest, what with the extreme bitterness and the gluten-free malts (which have never sat well with me, unfortunately) duking it out for Hell's crown on my tongue. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry finish. Definitely not something I'd seek out in the future.
