Ground Breaker Brewing

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery in Portland.

Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a thin layer of ivory foam atop.

Smell: fruity snd lightly tropical with some berry character and a little bit of tang. I'm not really familiar with jocote, but it evidently it works well in a hazy IPA.

Taste: kind of an earthy and slightly musty hop character. Malt is a bit sweet, and the fruit continues to add its interesting character. A bit strange, but I like it.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: I don't know where the fruit ends and the hops begin, or vice-versa, but the overall effect works for me. A solid beer.
