2/24/24 On tap at the brewery in Millvale, Pa
The aroma is of a glass of chambourcin.
On tasting this, it is so interesting that it still reminds me of a slightly carbonated version of the Thistlethwaite (our local winery) Chambourcin! It's good, a little on the cedar end of flavor and heavy grape. Slightly sweet. Very interesting.

Dark, opaque reddish/brown. Caramel colored head
Smell is vinegar, brown sugar, caramel, wine.
Taste is well-balanced acidity and sweet malts. This is integrated in a great way. Sour cherries, brown sugar, tart grapes are all delicious. There's a slight oaky wine presence from the barrel-aging
Mouthfeel is fairly thick for a sour, but it's also 10%, so that makes sense. It feels a tad undercarbbed despite a nice pop when we removed the cork. The acidity isn't overwhelming either.
Overall this is a solid offering from draai laag, though it's far from my favorites by them.
