Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a dark bready orange color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Lacing is there, somewhat stringy. The aroma had some bready malts playing with a huge citrusy/grapefruity bittersweetness. Slight spiciness, somewhat like coriander. The flavor starts off with the citrusy/grapefruity hoppiness. Bready malts come in and then the spiciness, somewhat seeming for blending purposes. Sly grassiness and then the bready to spicy and citrusy aftertaste rolling into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation and ABV felt right as well. Overall, good Belgian pale ale that I could come back to.

Growler purchased at the brewery and consumed about 5 hours later.
Pours a hazy light gold with a white head. Looks a lot like a saison.
Smells of brett and dry, spicy hops. Neat combination, decently balanced, but also a little weak.
Tastes like it smells, only more assertive. Sharp, lightly sour brett starts things off, moving into a straight-up IPA middle and sending with more sour-sweet brett nodes.
Neat idea, well executed.
