The appearance was a light looking bronzed yellow to orange color with a slight transparency about it. Just a rim of a sly white little head touched the top of the glass. Barely any lacing. The smell had some sweet and bitter pine. Light citrus runs underneath. The taste was mainly bitter with a nice back up from the sweet side of the citrus and pine combining decently. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a big sessionability about it. Carbonation runs under allowing the bitterness to make an effort but still stay subtly in the background. Overall, it works as a "session IPA", so I’d have again.

I'll admit, my can is a few months old. I scored it from a buddy of mine that plays annually at the Green Mountain Disc Golf Championship.
Pours an unusually bright gold color with a huge head into my glass.
Crisp with grassy hops that have a citrus touch.
Sweet and buttery upfront with some grassy hop flavor.
Finishes slightly bitter.
This wouldn't be the first IPA from Fiddlehead that got a little better with age. I'm just stoked to have been able to try this and hopefully I'll score an extra from the tournament later this year.

For a session, this is pretty good. Nice, nose is super floral, definitely nelson in there. The taste is slightly tart white grapes, Apple, and a wheat finish. Feel is a bit watery, but I guess is acceptable for the style.

By far the best session ipa I've ever had and the best beer from this brewery

At 4.8%, this is a beer that should convince anyone why craft beer can be just as crushable on a boat as Bud Light. It's the kind of beer that I imagine Bud maybe used to be (okay, Bud's a German-style lager so maybe not) back when it used hops.

There are a lot of great IPA's around here but unfortunately this is simply not one. Decent hop bite but almost watery like, with no mouthfeel whatsoever. I'm all for a super drinkable IPA but I need a little more substance.....

Translucent straw color, thin finger of foamy white head: looks like a session.
Aroma is pleasant and hoppy, undisclosed hops but I detect whiffs of Amarillo.
Taste is reminiscent of orange/tangerine and some pine, bright and flavorful.
Light bodied session, characteristically thin, finishes dry.
Solid session ale worthy of the name Fiddlehead, get you some!
