Growlette from brewery. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a nice looking ruddy pink color with a quickly dissipating white filmy head that had a little bit of concave lacing trying to stretch upward. The smell started off with strawberry and raspberry with a big amount of sourness (brett-like) blending into a light sweet blueberry underneath. The taste was moderately sour with an ample amount of sweetness from the blueberries to make an effort to balance. Sourness shows a nice settling feel in the flavor. Semi-sour to tart fruity balance in the aftertaste running into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium in body with a little bit of sessionability about it as the sourness hits good in the feel. Carbonation runs a bit under. Stickiness is there but not overbearing. Overall, for an American Wild ale, it works, as all of the advertised fruits are there showing that it is a nice "medley." Sour fans, I recommend.

My good friend BoldRulerVT hooked me up with a growlette of this. Enjoyed on a cool fall afternoon out on the deck, poured into a tulip glass. Pours a hazy, washed out pink color, with a thin pinkish-white head that mostly dissipates but keeps refreshing with motion, leaving minimal lace. The aroma is full of berries, with just a hint of bretty horse/straw. The taste is neither sour nor sweet, but has a sort of bitterness that does not come from hops...possibly from the brett. Definitely lots of berry showing up, possibly perceived in the taste through the aroma, and equally matched by the horsey flavor from the yeast. Mouth is fairly dry and thin, with ample carbonation. Overall, an interesting 100% brett fruit beer very much along the lines of others in this series from Fiddlehead.

Poured from the growler same day as filled.
Pours a nice pinkish garnet color with minimal head.
Aromas are sweet berry with a hint of brett sourness.
Taste is very much in line with aromas with the berries taking the forefront on my palate and the brett there to compliment the berries. Could have been more sour for me.
Mouthfeel was nice and spot on.
Overall, I really liked this beer, loved the aroma and showcasing of local berries.
