A: Pours a hazy yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap that leaves good lacing

S: Lots of barnyard and Brett influence up front along with some fruitiness and hay notes

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with some light acetic barnyard funk and fruity notes and then picks up some wheat and bready notes. Apple and pear shine from the yeast. Finishes with lingering fruity notes

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

I: A very nice wild farmhouse ale that heavily features the Brett yeast. Nice to sip on and let evolve. Definitely not too sour and more funky. Worth checking out

Bottle to tulip.
The appearance was a mostly bright yellow semi-chill hazy color. The head was mostly foamy and slid off fairly nice. Modest lace swept around my glass nicely.
The aroma had huge amounts of tart lemon jolly ranchers up front running through some woody edges. Some hay/grassy/barnyard funkiness rides in underneath with lime juice.
The flavor leaned into a sour to semi-tart character through the lemon notes. The woodiness provides some strength here with some barnyard funkiness. The lime shows up more in the aftertaste with a slight touch of coconut.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. There's some soothing abnormal slickness here. Nice finish of dust covered lemon jolly ranchers.
Overall, drinks pretty damn nice! For an American wild ale, the pucker factor was definitely controlled quite well. I'd come back to this.

L-The initial pour was golden and clear. The head was a couple of inches of soft white bubbles. The head recedes to a thick film leaving beautiful legs of lace along the glass.
S- The nose leads with some malt sweetness which transitions to light barnyard funk. There is some green apple tartness that rises and falls amidst these two predominant elements.
T-The palate translates as a nice tart but not too tart farmhouse ale. Up front you get a bit of the green apple which is quickly overtaken by barnyard mustiness. Towards the end of the sip the tartness takes back over and is the main flavor component in the aftertaste. The sweetness in the nose never makes its way here.
F-The mouthfeel overall is medium. There is a light dry finish due to the tart finish. Carbonation is medium to medium high.
O-This is nice farmhouse sour ale. It's not going to take the enamel off your teeth, but you still know it's a sour. The barnyard funk aspect is low moderate and does not overpower. Recommended if you enjoy the style.

Tried this at the taproom.
They thought it was so precious they wouldn't give me a sample but demanded I pay $7 for a glass.

Hazy, light yellow-orange straw. Somewhat cloudy. LIttle head.
Has funky farmhouse smell.
Average farmhouse taste - sour,

Really over-priced for what it is.

Fiddlehead has made some good IPA's - Second Fiddle in particular - they proabably need to focus on this.
They have a decent porter (Hoadad) and really need to sometime to a stout in order to be a real brewery

Hazy bright straw yellow with a thickly persistent fuzzy white blanket.

Notes of cracker, sesame and Corn Flakes give an almost lager-like quality before lemon pepper accents. Yet it's tart, and not too sour, with a light funk.

The light body has an airy froth and finishes semi-dry.
