Tiny baby 8oz can, canned 2025/05/30
Pours a frothy foamy 1 finger head with fair retention, fair lacing, light pale color
Nose starts like typical Mexican lager, light doughy malt, cereal, corn bread, floral notes and a bit of lime citrusy notes,
Taste brings more cereal bready malts, corn tortilla and corn bread, general doughy, a bit of zesty lime, mild sweet fruity note, a touch tangy and a bit of salt brine like into spicy hops and lime rind, dry finish with med spicy hop bitterness lingering
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, med carb
Overall not bad, an interesting beer, not quite as light and easy drinking as a typical Mexican lager (and I mean the good ones), the hops come on a bit too aggressive late, but still nice

This one pours a golden straw yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells lemony, grassy, and bready, with a touch of lime.
This is pretty wonderful for the style, with a wonderfully citrusy, lemony, and limey feel to it, but still bready and crisp on the finish in a great way.
This is light bodied, crisp, clean, and very, very drinkable.
Fiddlehead still somehow sails under the radar, I feel like. They’re known for their IPAs, but pretty much every style I’ve had from them has been tasty.

A: Pours a clear yellowish color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Lime and agave up front along with some crackery tortillas and bready malt. Some light salinity in there as well
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of the lime, agave sweetness, and tortillas and then picks up the bready malt and salinity. Finishes with lingering maltiness
M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation
O: This is a great Mexican lager that is extremely drinkable. Very well done

Had a sample at the tap house.
Very uninspiring.
Pale yellow orange.
Clear. Some trace of a head.
Slight smell of light hops.
Goes down smoothly. Average lager taste. Nothing memorable.
