Poured into a stemless Teku at around 40 degrees.
Appearance - Low, short-lived head presence with zero lacing. Pours a slightly opaque pink/red hue reminiscent of pink lemonade. Significant yeast sediment settles around half of the bottom of the glass.
Aroma - Off the top, a dry, red wine tannin quality hits first; followed by a citrus dominant limonene profile. I could detect no evidence of any yeast driven funk hiding anywhere in the nose of this beer.
Flavor - Immediately walloped with the burn of acidic lemon-lime, and raspberry wine cooler that falls to saltine cracker. Followed by a relatively subdued funky, yeast-driven hay bale/barn presence; the combined light funk/acidic posture of this beer seems to indicate a lacto culture, although no individual yeast strain is specified.
Mouthfeel - Light viscosity and mildly dry with an edgy, crisp carbonation that seems to reveal some level of bottle conditioning.
Overall - Seems to fit the generic profile of the style, although not incredibly remarkable.
