On tap at Fiddlehead Brewing in Shelburne, VT.
This one pours a golden light orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells hella biscuity, with some caramel, toast, and light grassy hop flavor.
This definitely leans more festbier than marzen, but with a nice little biscuity and bready malt backbone. There’s a soft and pleasant grassy and floral hop character to this one – it all adds up to a beer that goes down much too easily.
This is light bodied, very crisp and clean, and super drinkable.
This isn’t exactly what Fiddlehead is known for, but I honestly really haven’t had any beers from them in a full decade of drinking their beers.

Pint on tap at the brewery's taproom in Shelbourne Vermont.
The appearance of this Festbier is nearly perfect with a bright, clear copper colored body and loads of fine-grained carbonation bubbles rising to an extremely durable white head. The aroma is way more hop forward than expected, but there's plenty of sweet malt in the flavor.
