330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 7.4%. Hazy pale yellow colour with loads of darker lumpy floaties, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, notes of tropical fruits, hints of spices. Fruity and piney flavour with a very bitter finish.

330ml bottle into a pint glass. Best by 11/23/22, so this must be really fresh. (I hope)
Looks decent in the glass. Pale golden yellow body. Small white head shrinks to a ring, good lacing initially.
Really nice aroma here. Fruity, tropical, clean and light. Even a small spice note can be detected.
On tasting, pretty much follows the nose. Barely flavors the citrus. Sweet malt base challenges the hop.
Mouth above medium, finish fruit hop with that light spice touch.
Overall, nice interpretation of a West Coast ipa, but cleaner and somehow lighter, despite the abv.

rarely is english pale ale this modern, but still so decidedly english, it always seems to be one or the other, but here was have the best of both worlds, some haze to it, and a very northwestern hop profile, spicy and bitter and way more robust in the aroma and flavor than i am used to from english ones, its not just for balanced but really there the whole way through. some woodsy and pine notes, and even an oily aspect to the feel, not traditionally english there at all. its also a bit stronger than i am used to in the style. the english elements are there beneath the hops though, with a pretty balanced malt complexion, slighlty sweet and kind of baked tasting, more classic there, and the yeast is a familiar bready strain that has a lot more flavor to it than is fashionable in american ipa. normally i wouldnt expecxt these two schools of thought on the style to come together this well, but these guys really united them well, its unique in that way, and doesnt just taste like an over hopped enlgish type. a robust and tasty ale, fresh and different in the style, we had a blast drinking thier beers, a lot of innovation happening here!

Really nice IPA that took me by surprise at Lots Road Pub -- beautifully executed, with floral tones. Yum. IMHO deserves a higher rating than 84. Well done!

Almost clear straw color with white head. Aroma has a vanilla like sweetness, candied lemons and a light alcohol note. Taste starts slightly grainy with a malty sweetness in the background. Hops are present but somehow play the second fiddle. Citrusy, grassy and earthy but with a light bitterness. Light, dry body with medium carbonation. The alcohol is a bit too present for my taste.

A beer with some strengths but, although I suppose it is for my personal taste, body and lacks a little depth. I would prefer it to be more forceful.
