On-tap at the brewery itself, on to the beer:

This is a pale orange colored beer topped with an half-inch head and sturdy head retention. A hop experience is what you get when you inhale the aroma. Hops all the way, bringing out appealing notes of tangerine, orange, pine, and a crisp bitterness. It's not just a one-trick pony in just the aroma; flavor is hoppy as well without being overkill, while remaining easy to drink. Notes of orange, tangerine, grass, and dry malt hold the beer together, which leaves pleasing crisp bubbles on the palate with just a light bitterness.

Looking for love? This is a pale ale that you could make out with.

On tap at Smog City Brewing in Torrance, CA.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and berry aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, earth, and berry flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an assertive bitterness for a session beer.

Compared to other session ales this one just isn't that good. It's a bit too hoppy and there just isn't any other flavor. The tasting room is awesome, with many other good choices, and has a great atmosphere. And an organic hotdog stand. A must visit.
