On tap @ the source. A creation made for the recent San Diego Brewbies Festival using the base LA Saison with tart cherries and blueberries added.
A: Pours a hazy crimson/dark red with pinkish edges under a 1/2-inch pink head which fades to the rim and leaves only a few spots of lace.
N: Fruity (cherries, strawberries, blueberries) skins and juice, yeasty with a rustic/earth note. Barely peppery.
T: Yeasty, mildly tart fruits with blueberry fairly detectable, faint grass/hay, bread and peppery spice.
M: Semi-moderate body and carbonation. Finishes yeasty, dry, and fruity.
O: An average fruited saison. Oh how I wish there were some Brett in this.
