On tap poured into a tupil at smog city brewery. Poured a very dark brown and had a medium body, very light carbonation. Smell of coffee and vanilla, taste follows suit with a nice boubon kick up front.

Just placed on tap @ the source. Coffee porter aged for 1 year in Heaven Hill, Jack Daniels, Four Roses barrels.
A: Pours black with dark reddish/crimson edges under a one-inch thick mocha head which fades to a thin cap and rim leaving spotty lace.
N: Fudge brownie, dark chocolate, vanilla, wood, roasted malts, and subtle coffee.
T: Bourbon is front and center with a mellow sweetness, earthy, roasted malts, grainy, vanilla on warming, coffee is in the back.
M: Full body and medium carbonation. Rich, smooth, bourbon kick, coffee fudge brownie finish.
O: Another winner here. The expectation for a hot boozy coffee porter is not met, rather a well balanced bourbon flavored serene experience to be had if you don't delay.
