In a shaker pint on draft at the brewery.
Pours a semi dark straw color. About half a finger of head, which dissipates quickly but leaves a strong halo around the glass.
Strong grapefruit and pine aromas. Smells semi sweet as well.
Good grapefruit flavors. Maltiness on the back end with a touch of pine.
A bit over carbonated in mouthfeel, but a bit of juiciness makes up for it.
The name goes along with Smog City's other beer names such as Grape Ape and Amarilla Gorilla as a capuchin is a type of monkey and has nothing to do with cappuccino.

Nice thirst quenching session IPA. Lots of grapefruit aromatics and nicely balanced. Any self respecting hop-head can get his/her ticket punched with this one. Crisp and clean. Can't fathom the capuchino reference.
