Poured a dark brownish red which is slightly murky. Aromas and smells are of boozy raisins and dark stone fruits; the alcohol heat and fruit flavors are a bit of a mess here compared to the best of the style. But the mouthfeel is appropriate and desirable. An average quad.

Had on tap at the brewery.
Pours a nice amber in color. Very clear. Head dissipated almost immediately to a halo.
Very little nose. Slight sweet flavor.
Raisins, plum and slight earth tones are the dominant flavors. A bit sugary.
Very sticky on the tongue. Low on carbonation.
