Had this on tap at the brewery. Excellent stout that pours jet black with a perfect tan head of foam. Smells of chocolate, dark roastiness and wood. Taste is rich, delicious, full flavor of roasted grain, liquer with a hint of cherry and chocolate. Goes down smooth and easy for a stout of 9+ abv. No alcohol taste at all. I’m assuming the Hungarian Oak Barrel iit was aged in added a lot of depth and dimension to the beer. I’ve never had the regular version of “The Nothing” so I can’t say for sure, but my guess is that the Hungarian Oak made this beer world class.
